    Movies: COMING TO AMERICA!!! (Eddie at his best. It's one of the few movies I can watch over and over and NEVER grow tired of it), Like Water For Chocolate, West Side Story (it ridiculous they coudn't find any real Puerto Ricans for that movie, but Rita Moreno represented well), The Sound of Music (shut up!), I'm Gonna Git you Sucka, Malcolm X (you know how its gonna end, but it still gets me every time cause you wonder what could have been), The Color Purple, Boomerang, The Wedding Singer, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days
    TV: I'm not ashamed to say it... I LOVE TV. I often turn it on just to have something running in the background when I'm at home. That said, much of TV today sucks. So there aren't that many shows I'm racing to see. I LOVE a good sitcom and often watch repeats of shows in syndication rather than new episodes. However, some shows I still enjoy are Law & Order SVU, Family Guy, The Office and Monk.
    Books: My degree is in English, so there are soooooo many books I love and soooo many books on my bookshelves. A VERY short list of my favorites are Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Autobiography of Malcolm X, Song of Solomon, The Third Life of Grange Copeland, Rich Dad Poor Dad
    Likes: A slice of pizza and ice cream, you see what a cheap date I am. :-)
    Dislikes: Inconsiderate people. Probably my BIGGEST pet peeve. I believe most people only think of themselves these days. Simple things from saying "excuse me," "please" and "thank you" to curbing your dog, to signaling when you drive to littering are just small examples of how folks are just plain self absorbed and inconsiderate. I'm getting riled up just thinking about it. I'll probably blog about it soon. As corny as it sounds, I really do believe in the golden rule..."do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

    Ne-Yo Album Pushed Back

    Ne-Yo's third Def Jam album has been pushed back from its original June 24th release date and he's hoping to keep fans connected with a new blog. 

     

     

    Year of the Gentleman is now due out later this summer, August 5th, while the R&B singer/producer works on more tracks. To keep the buzz around his project Ne-Yo is blogging at http://www.yearofthegentleman.com/.

    "I wanted the third album to be something a little different from the first and second as far as the essence and the sound of what I was doing," Ne-Yo told Billboard.
