According to TMZ, Lil Wayne has skipped his required court appearance today in Manhattan due to some kind of dental or medical problem. Really? Yeah...right. I'll keep you posted on this story.  I don't even know why he is supposed to be in court anyway. LOL!

According to the Miami Herald, Weezy is currently being accused of short changing New Orleans, Louisiana diamond dealer Jack Sutton by having only paid $24,000 for roughly $170,000 worth of jewelry. The purchased items were a $138,000 diamond ring and $32,000 gold-and-diamond necklace both obtained in October 2006.

Claiming the transaction was made over the phone, Sutton alleges Weezy promised to make monthly payments but stopped after making just one. Despite filing the complaint last October, it has now made its way to Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Scott Silverman who approved the two-page order that makes the hip-hop superstar responsible for paying the complete debt "which sum shall bear interest at the rate of 11 percent a year."

Although recent success with his double platinum Tha Carter III should make him able to easily clear all charges, Weezy is expected to return the ring instead of shell out the cash.

"We reached a settlement," Weezy's attorney Ron Sweeney told The Herald. "Everybody's happy."

Aside from jewelry debt, the superstar also owes nearly $1 million to the IRS for income tax. According to a May 6 notice of federal tax lien obtained by Herald, he owes $977,840.81, yet Sweeney promises "it's been paid" claiming the payment has yet to be recorded.

The Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) Michael Misick, and his estranged wife LisaRaye McCoy-Misick were involved in a violent confrontation at the Premier's mansion on Wednesday night, according to reliable sources. The fight, which reportedly occurred in the presence of a number of government officials, including the Minister for Health and Education, Lillian Been-Boyce, resulted in both Misicks seeking emergency medical attention for bites. Each has filed a police report against the other.
